Benefits of Working with Hoekstra

What is a regional truck driver?
Regional truck driving refers to the area of a region where the driver will primarily operate.

These routes typically require longer drives along highways than local truck driver routes. Regional truck drivers may take several days on the road to complete their week’s assignment, staying overnight at hotels or in their well appointed trucks. Many regional truck drivers benefit from weekends at home with family and higher pay. They are typically not involved in the manual labor of loading and unloading the truck before or after reaching their destination.

Pros

Great Pay! The company and the people that work for it stick close to the vision, mission, and core values, which is refreshing, considering most businesses create a “vision” or “mission” and use flashy buzzwords to put on a sign but never adhere to. Family ran and generations strong. Honest, professional, fun, rewarding, opportunity for growth, safe, and caring work environment. Benefits are great!

Cons

There can be a lot of work at times, but it can also be quite slow at times considering your title and type of work, but that comes with any job. Work can be challenging and for some, could be seen as intimidating or demanding – especially considering the hours some of us in operations can put in on a daily basis.
