After 90 continuous days of full time employment, company drivers become eligible to enroll in our health and dental insurance plans. Insurance coverage begins the first of the month following the 90th day of employment. Hoekstra Transportation pays for the employee's premium. If the employee chooses to insure additional members of their family, that premium is the responsibility of the employee. Also, each employee will be enrolled in a term life insurance of $15,000.

Health Insurance Benefits
The health insurance plans are a nationwide PPO administered through Blue Cross / Blue Shield. The plans also includes a prescription drug card.
